Ingredients:
  • Boiled potatoes – 3 (350 grams)
  • Green peas – ¼ cup
  • Coriander leaves – 2 to 3 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Ginger – ½ inch piece (finely chopped)
  • Green chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Salt – more than ½ tsp or to taste
  • Cumin powder – ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice - 1tsp
  • Turmeric powder – less than 1 tsp
  • Red chilly powder – ¼ tsp
  • Amchur powder - ¼ tsp
  • Oil – for frying
  • 1 cup Sevai/Vermicelli, roasted and crushed
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour
  • Salt


Preparation:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add ginger and cook it for a min.
  • Add capsicum, carrot, french beans and cook it for 2 minutes.
  • Add vermicelli, amchur powder, garam masala, chaat masala, red chilli powder, green chillies and mix well.
  • Turn off the flame and let it cool down.
  • Transfer it to a bowl, add coriander leaves, potatoes, corn flour, salt, brown bread crumbs(Optional) and mix them well.
  • Take a small portion of the mixture and shape them into cutlets.
  • In a bowl, add plain flour, water and make a batter.
  • Heat oil in a vessel, dip the cutlet into the batter and fry them in hot oil.
  • Our Potato Vermicelli Cutlets are ready to serve.
