Ingredients:
- Boiled potatoes – 3 (350 grams)
- Green peas – ¼ cup
- Coriander leaves – 2 to 3 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Ginger – ½ inch piece (finely chopped)
- Green chilli – 2 (finely chopped)
- Salt – more than ½ tsp or to taste
- Cumin powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice - 1tsp
- Turmeric powder – less than 1 tsp
- Red chilly powder – ¼ tsp
- Amchur powder - ¼ tsp
- Oil – for frying
- 1 cup Sevai/Vermicelli, roasted and crushed
- 1 tbsp Corn flour
- Salt
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan, add ginger and cook it for a min.
- Add capsicum, carrot, french beans and cook it for 2 minutes.
- Add vermicelli, amchur powder, garam masala, chaat masala, red chilli powder, green chillies and mix well.
- Turn off the flame and let it cool down.
- Transfer it to a bowl, add coriander leaves, potatoes, corn flour, salt, brown bread crumbs(Optional) and mix them well.
- Take a small portion of the mixture and shape them into cutlets.
- In a bowl, add plain flour, water and make a batter.
- Heat oil in a vessel, dip the cutlet into the batter and fry them in hot oil.
- Our Potato Vermicelli Cutlets are ready to serve.
